Sam Rodriguez, CFP®

Founding Partner and Wealth Advisor

In 2016, after spending twelve years as a financial advisor, Sam Rodriguez established Mission Financial Advisory Services and after a year of rapid client growth and advisor interest, Sam partnered with Brian Krukiel to form Foundation Wealth Partners. Sam founded and expanded his practice with the sole purpose of providing better, more sophisticated investment options, advice, and service to clients. Given his tenure and the autonomy of being able to practice as an Investment Advisor Representative, he is able to provide the guidance and strategies to truly serve each client’s specific situation and need. Sam is excited extend his experience and knowledge to those who are seeking better strategies to protect and grow their wealth.

Before expanding Mission Financial Advisory Services to Foundation Wealth Partners, Sam spent seven years with JP Morgan Chase as a Private Client Advisor where he was regarded for his outstanding service to clients. The prior five years were spent with Ameriprise Financial helping clients plan for their futures and grow their wealth. Sam’s commitment to clients extends even beyond his own. During his tenure with both firms Sam spent time coaching and mentoring new advisors to have a “client first” practice. Sam’s belief in working in client’s best interest and being held to the highest ethical and educational standards in this ever changing environment led him to earn his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in March of 2016.

Brian started his career serving his country in the U.S. Navy where he was responsible for maintaining and servicing large aircraft both in the U.S and abroad. Brian was able to gain a very unique perspective on the world as he traveled across the globe supporting the U.S. Naval Fleet. After four years of service, Brian had a young family and decided to move on to another challenge. Brian’s Military experience left him with a desire to find a career where he could continue to serve and make a difference. Brian found his calling in being a Financial Advisor and joined J.P. Morgan Chase where he spent over 8 years helping his clients plan for and address their unique financial goals. Brian’s passion in working to optimize his client’s financial situation with objective advice and detailed planning solutions led him to move into private practice in 2016. Because of Brian’s rapid success as an independent financial advisor, in September of 2017 he partnered with a former J. P. Morgan colleague, Sam Rodriguez, to found Foundation Wealth Partners.

Brandon Fresard

Director of Planning & Strategy

With over a decade of finance services experience, Brandon Fresard realized that there had to be more available to his financial planning clients. Brandon was not content on having limited product offerings and being constrained to basic investment strategies. Brandon has worked at some of the top tier financial services companies and it was while he was an advisor with J. P. Morgan that he met Brian. Brandon continued to have an open line of communication with his former colleague throughout the years and saw the difference in what a private practice could offer clients.

Brandon has a passion for financial markets and believes that everyone has different life experiences that offer different perspectives. He understands that there is no one size fits all approach to financial planning. The most important part in any financial plan is making sure that our client understands the plan and that our client is comfortable with the plan.

Brandon holds a BBA in Finance from Midwestern State University. He and his wife, Heather live in Little Elm, Texas. They are proud parents of their son Knox.
